Specifications include, but are not limited to: EMERGENCY REPAIR MEASURE #1 Item # 1 DEMO Remove and dispose of existing rubber roof system and dispose in landfield. Item # 2 Mobile Home EPDM Roofing: Specifications: Install EPDM on manufactured home roof per the manufacturer’s requirements and by local code office. Broom clean and then pressure wash the entire mobile home roof. Closely inspect the roof surface and immediately report any problem areas to the Project Supervisor. Install a fully adhered 40 mil (minimum) EPDM (rubber roof) per the manufacturer’s requirements. For underlayment use Celotex "CELO‐1", or an equal only if prior approval is given by the Project Supervisor. Seams in EPDM are to be avoided whenever possible. If seams must be included in the roof, the Contractor is responsible to ensure that the following process is used: 1. Overlap the EPDM 3” at the seam, (dry fit). 2. Clean both contact surfaces with Versico (or equal) Primer. Allow primer to cure according to instructions before beginning Step 3. below. 3. Use Versoco (or equal) Seam tape to bind the seam. This is a double sided adhesive tape that goes between the seam overlap. Leave ¼” of the tape exposed at the edge of the seam. Boots for EPDM roofs must be made specifically for EPDM applications. These boots adhere directly to the EPDM material. Manufacturer’s instructions must be followed when installing. EMERGENCY REPAIR Measure #2 Item #1 Guttering Repair/Replace: Install 198 linear ft of house type guttering and 4 downspouts 2 front 2 back. Specifications: Install 198 linear feet oversized aluminum continuous guttering (4” x 5”) and 20 linear feet oversized aluminum downspouts (3” x 4”). Install per the manufacturer’s requirements and by local code office. Downspouts discharging directly onto a roof surface or into another gutter shall occur only with the prior approval of the Project Supervisor. The elbows at the discharge end of the downspout shall aim water in line with the reasonable placement of the splash blocks which are included in the gutter installation.
