Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall take measurements at the convenience of the MSCO and furnish standard sizes of garments for fit testing. If Contractor is unable to fit an individual with standard sizes to the satisfaction of the MSCO, Contractor shall provide made-to-measure garments or alter standard items to provide best possible fit. Tailoring will include but will not be limited to hemming, taking in, letting out, and sewing patches on each uniform as requested. MSCO reserves the right to inspect Contractor’s premises and determine the capabilities for servicing the needs of the department prior to bid award. MCSO is requesting a responsive and responsible Contractor to provide uniforms and accessories. Contractor shall maintain a back-up inventory of all contract items so that all MCSO employees may purchase new and replacement uniforms and accessories as specified herein. Contractor shall supply MCSO with a listing of inventory items and standard inventory quantity levels. All inventory items shall be available to MCSO employees within 24 hours of a valid purchase order. Contractor shall provide tailoring services within Marion County, IN. Tailoring service must be available for uniforms purchased on contract as well as those purchased by individuals. Complete tailoring services, including the removal and replacement of patches and emblems, shall be available between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday and between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon Saturday at one or more location(s) within Marion County. There shall be no additional charge for tailoring and all tailoring cost (including patches and emblems) must be included in the purchase price of new items.
