Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The University requires the Contractor to provide foot patrol and mobile patrol security services for the University of Minnesota’s University Park Plaza (UPP) building located at 2829 University Avenue SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414. The Contractor will be responsible for providing unarmed, uniformed security officers for the UPP building. The UPP building will require onsite foot patrol security personnel and mobile security officer services. 2. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, circulation throughout the building/property; monitor onsite video cameras; enforce University property rules and policies; and investigate unauthorized persons or any unusual activity. The Contractor must be licensed to do business in Minnesota. 3. The Contractor’s security officers will guard the property, occupants, and visitors who enter the UPP building. The Contractor shall emphasize to its security officers that their primary duty and responsibility is to guard the UPP building as well as property in and around the UPP building. 4. The Contractor must have the ability to provide additional required security officer hours on a twentyfour (24) hour turn-around basis.
