Specifications include, but are not limited to: Remove the existing 73”x63” duct out of the equipment room. The duct is to be capped at the main 110”x112” duct and at the west wall. The fire damper at the west wall is to be removed. The control damper at the west wall is to be removed. The humidifier distribution heater at the west wall is to be removed. The existing 98”x62” duct is to be capped. Add a new 72”X64” duct. Duct to be located under the existing relief fan and run from the return duct to the OA duct to AHU-1. Provide a new control damper for the return air (economizer control). Move the steam humidifier header if desired. The bottom of the duct should be approximately 8’-0” above the floor. A sprinkler head at the east end will need to be relocated to under the new duct. If the relief fan needs to be replaced, a section of this duct would need to be removed for service. Access to the motors/starters/disconnects on the relief fans can still be achieved.
