Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Minnesota Department of Corrections (“DOC” or “State”) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to conduct an audit specifically evaluating sexual harassment practices, policies, training, response, and prevention within Minnesota correctional facilities. The contractor will work with multi-disciplinary groups from within and outside of the DOC while conducting the audit. An audit is based on the premise that employees are guided to do their jobs by the policies, philosophies, and work practices. These work practices and organizational structures need to be set up to discourage sexual harassment and to effectively address sexual harassment when it occurs. The focus of the audit is not to investigate claims. The selected responder (“Contractor”) will work with the Director of Victim Services & Restorative Justice and the Director of Human Resources in the planning and conducting of the audit.
