Specifications include, but are not limited to: The existing fire suppression system has deteriorated within the stadium tower, concourse and service hallway of the Rice Eccles Stadium. The request is to have a fire suppression consultant provide a complete (SD, DD, CD, and IFC) design for the removal and replacement of the fire suppression system throughout the tower and corresponding areas as noted. The design should include replacing horn strobes, smoke detectors, pull stations, control modules, etc. This is a sports venue that is occupied at certain times of year. Therefore consideration should be taken on how to phase out the removal and replacement in the design. University Fire Marshall should be consulted and the facilities department for questions, shutdowns and access.
