Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Sierra Vista requests proposals from qualified consultants to provide a Feasibility Study on the economic impact of creating a municipal court within the City limits to adjudicate minor cases, such as misdemeanors, orders of protection and civil/criminal traffic violations as well as any city ordinance violations. The feasibility study shall provide the following guidance and direction to the City: • Determine the costs in creating the City's own stand-alone municipal court including infrastructure, square footage facility needs, construction or rental of a facility and all associated costs with both options, staffing requirements, annual operating costs and any other identified expenses to start up a municipal court. • Compare benchmarks with other City Municipal courts in Arizona to determine: Number of cases heard per month, number of staff allocated, source of revenue that funds the court's annual operations.
