Specifications include, but are not limited to: Selected contractor will be responsible for: • Scheduling with the City Project Manager, who will coordinate with the City Network Administrator. • Installing each new access point including: o Remove and secure the existing access point. o Install the new, City-provided access point including mounting and connecting to existing cabling from the old access point. o Coordinate with the City Network Administrator to verify the operation of the new access point. o Upon installation of each new access point, Contractor shall contact the City Network Administrator who will verify the operation of the access point(s) prior to moving to the next task. This can be done per access point or per facility at the discretion of the Contractor. • Delivering removed access points at the completion of each location. • Maintaining inventory of access points (see Deliverables for more detail). • Contractor shall provide all necessary ladders and safety equipment. • Most access points are located in an office environment, but some access point locations may be in an apparatus bay (garage) environment and thus be located higher than a traditional office environment. • The City shall provide mounting hardware for each access point. Work will be scheduled with City Project Manager and is expected to be completed during the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm ET. The total duration of the project is estimated at approximately four (4) weeks. The City is looking for a fixed fee or fee per access point engagement with payment upon project completion.
