Specifications include, but are not limited to: CBRN Agent Resistance: Must resist the following CBRN agents for a minimum duration of 36 hours: • Mustard (H) • Sarin (GB) • Soman (GD) • VX gases Should possess a National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Visual Field Score of 90 or higher. Must provide protection against hazards commonly found during riot control situations, including but not limited to: • Dust and fumes • Bacterial and viral threats • Riot agent chemical sprays, specifically: • Tear gases • OC pepper spray Allow connection to either a canteen or bladder-type hydration system. Must have both clear and sunlight Outsert assemblies. Must have a universal carrier & storage faceform. Allow connection to external communication systems, electronics pass-through for external radio use.
