All work hereunder shall be directed by Louisville Metro Government.Definitions:Tree Pruning- The selective removal of plant parts to meet specific goals and objects. Treepruning shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supervision and allother personnel, and all other resources or services necessary to provide an immediate corrective response to tree(s) in the right-of-way (ROW) and/or public property, to make a situation sufficiently safe for the public to re-enter an area. Tree pruning shall consist of 1-2,000trees per project. Crown-upper part of a tree, measured from the lowest branch, including all the branches and foliage. Types of Pruning:Crown cleaning- removal of dead, dying, diseased or broken branches 1” diameter or larger.Crown thinning- selective removal of branches to increase light penetration and air movementin the crown; removal of excess interior branches ½" diameter or larger
