Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit Proposals from qualified, responsible firms to establish a price contract(s) for removal of snow and/or ice from Medical Center facilities. This RFP will be for the removal of snow and/or ice from Medical Center facilities. A list of the facilities is attached as Exhibit A. Removal will include surface parking lots, facility entrances, sidewalks, and parking structures. Contractor(s) will need the ability to promptly and thoroughly address weather events that vary in their timing, duration, intensity, and accumulation. The Successful Offeror will be expected to perform: a) Cold Weather Treatment – apply ice melt materials to all paved surfaces so that they are safe and accessible for KDMC’s staff, patients, and visitors. b) Snow Clearing – plowing snow and staging or storing snow
