Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. GENERAL OBJECTIVE The objective of this project is to provide landscape and irrigation improvements to the median located within Cove Lane, a city residential street off of Gordon Drive in the Port Royal neighborhood. The Contractor will be responsible to provide all services that are required within the plan’s general notes & instructions; including all planting installation notes, irrigation installation notes and concrete curb installation notes. 2. ALTERNATE COMPONENTS Construction plans provide for two alternate components for this project. a) Soil Compaction Mitigation - (Alternate) This alternate will consist of air spading the roots of the existing live oak trees that will remain in the project. Contractor will follow the instructions listed for soil compaction mitigation when this alternate is chosen for the project. b) Concrete Curb Installation - (Alternate) This alternate will require the contractor to construct concrete curbing as described within the Concrete Curb Installation Notes. The contractor will follow the instructions listed when this alternate is chosen for the project.
