Specifications include, but are not limited to: A) Description of pickup truck # 1: Long bed, four-wheel drive with two door regular cab, rated as a 3/4 Ton, heavy-duty 250 or 2500 gas fueled, with single rear tires. Minimum of 3 year/ 36,000-mile bumper-to bumper warranty. B) Description of pickup truck # 2: Long bed, four-wheel drive with two door regular cab, rated as a 1-Ton super-duty 350 or 3500, gas fueled with dual rear tires. Equipped with a two hitch, tow hitch camera, a 220-amp alternator, heavy-duty springs, under body skid plates to help protect the transfer case from debris. Minimum of 3 year/ 36,000-mile bumper-to bumper warranty. Specifics to all vehicles: 1) 2023 or 2024 model production year 2) Two door pickup truck 3) Vehicle must earn a five (5) star “overall” crash rating. 4) White enamel exterior paint color; white metallic accepted if considered a standard color. 5) Four-wheel drive 6) Seats with lumbar support and head restraints 7) Air conditioning 8) Power steering 9) Power door locks 10) Power windows 11) Cruise control 12) Tilt and telescopic steering wheel 13) Automatic headlights 14) Rear window defroster 15) Anti-lock braking system 16) Traction/ stability control system 17) Dual front airbags 18) All weather removable floor mats 19) Standard radio 20) Remote keyless entry system 21) Three (3) keys/fobs to start the vehicle 22) Delivery to the Authority 23) Each unit shall be delivered to the Authority with all wheels balanced and the front end aligned. 24) Manufacturer’s standard compliment of tools, bumper jack, wheel wrench and jack handle shall be provided. 25) All vehicles shall be delivered to Metro in Omaha, Nebraska in accordance with the delivery schedule shown on the purchase order. 26) The original manufacturer’s statement of origin, a service authorization card, and a properly executed service and warranty policy shall accompany each vehicle when delivered. 27) Invoices shall describe the vehicle including the vehicle identification number (VIN). 28) All vehicles must be in “new condition” with less than 100 miles on the odometer. 29) Motor vehicles that have been wrecked or sustained more than minor nicks and scratches will not be accepted. 30) The vendor should not attempt to deliver a unit until minor nicks and scratches have been repaired. 31) The manufacturer’s standard warranty shall apply to each vehicle. Minimum warranty requirements: a. A minimum of three (3) years, 36,000 miles or the manufacturer’s standard warranty, whichever is greater, is required. (Include in base price) b. A minimum of five (5) years, 60,000 miles for engine/motor and power train is required. (Include in base price)
