Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lane County Department of Health & Human Services is seeking a panel of Veterinary providers to offer care services for pets (including therapeutic and service animals) of people who are houseless and residing in local emergency shelters. Providers must be willing to exchange service transaction information with referring shelter provider staff, through a designated process, that may include an electronic or paper referral system. Specific services we are seeking include: Pet Food / Supplies / Crates/ Kennels Basic Veterinary Care Services • Animal exams for the purpose of providing an eligible service below. • Spay and neuter • Vaccines (including rabies) • Pet behavioral services • Flea treatment • Grooming for the purpose of health and safety of the pet or shelter residents.
