Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering & Contract Administration (DECA) is seeking professional design services for the Kentucky State Fair Board’s State Fair Board Property Improvements - Phase I. The scope of work includes but is not limited to that described in the Phase I Land Planning Cost list (pg. 51) of the “Market Analysis for A Potential Master Plan Redevelopment of The Kentucky Exposition Center – November 29, 2022” (attachment A). Regularly Scheduled events will continue throughout the scope of the project. See attached schedules for sample year schedule of events. • Exhibition Hall 3 (New) • North Wing/East Hall (expansion/renovation) • Kitchen • Enabling Infrastructure & Demolition DECA reserves the option to increase the scope of services under this RFP, pending receipt of additional funding, to proceed with design and implementation of future Phases II & III as listed and described in the attached Market Analysis for A Potential Master Plan Redevelopment of The Kentucky Exposition Center – November 29, 2022. DECA intends to advertise and select a Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC) for this project. The Consultant Team is expected to work in concert with the CM/GC as they provide Preconstruction and Construction Services during the design and construction phases of the project.
