Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Work with multiple Departments in Santa Fe County to identify positions with high employee turnover that would be available to eligible applicants leaving a detention setting. These departments include but are not limited to the Public Safety Department, Human Resources Division, the Community Services Department and Public Works. 2. Develop and cultivate County relationships in the areas where placement opportunities are most likely, including but not limited to the Community Services and Public Works Departments. 3. Work with the County Detention Center and the RISE program to meet with eligible clients prior to release to insure a smooth transition into the program, and to insure that employment services are provided in tandem with the intensive case management provided thru the RISE Program. 4. In partnership with the Detention Center, the Human Resources Division and others, develop and implement a screening tool to be used to determine a participant’s program eligibility and employment fitness. Screening should also determine fitness for placement in services for vulnerable populations. 5. Develop a flow chart that outlines processes from pre-release from the Detention Center to successful placement and wrap around support in County employment. Include in the flow chart communication links with key partners, including but not limited to the Santa Fe County Detention Center, the Community Services Department, the RISE program, and any other organization providing like services.
