Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Garden City owns and operates the Garden City Regional Airport. The airport restaurant is newly constructed and located on the second story of the terminal. The restaurant provides an elegant ambiance overlooking the airfield. The restaurant plays a vital role serving a variety of customers including commercial and general aviation passengers, pilots, airport employees, tenants, military, surrounding area residents, highway travelers and the general public. The city requests the restaurant remains under the name “Flight Deck.” The city will provide utilities including water, sewer, gas, solid waste, and electricity at no expense to the operator. The operator is responsible for all other operating expenses such as phone, tv, internet, music services, and point of sale (POS). Tenant is responsible for the restaurant equipment maintenance and services including but not limited to coolers, ovens, sinks, bar equipment, grease trap, fire hood, and all other operating expenses. The operator is responsible for kitchenware and tableware. Please include the following items when submitting the Proposal to Operate the Flight Deck Restaurant at Garden City Regional Airport. 1. Resume - Include information on the operator’s restaurant/business experience, historic food safety license(s), and qualifications. 2. Hours – Provide proposed days/hours of operation. 3. Menu –Provide a sample menu with an anticipated price range. 4. Rent – Proposed rental amount (percent of sales or flat monthly rate). 5. Catering – If available, provide scope of service (aircraft catering/airport events/offsite). 6. Provide any additional information you feel is necessary.
