Specifications include, but are not limited to: Washington County is currently in the process of securing a new glass contract for the use in various Washington County properties (both owned and leased). The services under this contract will not be eligible for use on projects since the project costs would require BOLI and this is a non BOLI contract. General Specifications: A. Contractor shall provide full-service glass repair, replacement, supplies, and material on a as needed basis. Attached are examples of common windows on Washington County properties. B. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials (including but not limited to: caulking, weather stripping etc) equipment, tools and all other items necessary for and incidental to executing and completing miscellaneous glazing work. Contractor will supply glass and glass material at cost plus mark up (receipts will be required to verify cost of materials) with the exception of ballistic material which will be provided by the County. C. Contractor shall have the ability to repair, remove, and replace existing glass and seals for items such as, but not limited to, plate glass, windows, tabletop glass, store front glass, door passageway glass, mirrors, fire safety wired glass, sky lights, and security glass. D. Specialty glass and installation products, including metal fabrication services may be necessary to match existing trim/mullions to repair/replace to new appearances. E. Contractor shall protect the interior and exterior of the building, the contents, and the staff therein while performing work for the County. F. Contractor shall perform their work activities in such a manner that they will not interfere with the normal activities of the facility or its employees. G. Contractor will schedule all work through the contract administrator to ensure there is no disruption to any scheduled events or Washington county staff.
