Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Rosenberg College of Law (RCOL, “us” or “we”) seeks to develop degree programs and/or certificate programs in addition to its current Juris Doctor (JD) degree. We have looked in detail at a Master of Legal Studies (MLS) or similarly titled degree delivered in an online format. We would like to consider this as well as other options including (1) delivery in-person or in a blended format with some in-person components and (2) some other degree program, and (3) a non-degree certificate program. We plan to narrow the initial choice to one program for initial implementation. We anticipate that this would be a degree program, although we could begin with a certificate program if sufficient demand is identified. As indicated below, we seek a model which is scalable to other subject-matter areas if demand can be established. We are seeking guidance in adopting an original plan, how to best complete the constituent parts and assure courses, students, and faculty. The guidance may include not only program design and launch but continuing implementation of one or more ancillary services (admissions, recruiting, student services and support, technology support, job placement, alumni relations) for a period of time to be determined after the initial consultation is completed.
