Specifications include, but are not limited to: Boundary Treatment Area (Approximately 84 Acres); This stand has been strategically selected by the STATE to facilitate the best use of fuel reduction and hazard mitigation opportunity. Contractor shall perform treatment specifications are as follows: Boundary Treatment, See Map (Approximately 84 Acres);; Boundary - Remove 75% of all ladder fuel 250ft. from State Forest/USFS Boundary; Brush (live and dead); Trees less than 4” DBH that do not meet residual stocking parameters; Leave trees will be spaced 15’ to 20’ apart; Small diameter trees exhibiting excessive mistletoe shall be removed; Larger diameter trees showing excessive mistletoe brooms that are reachable by masticator boom shall be removed in a manner that will not damage the tree; Road Treatment Area (Approximately 51 Acres); Some main roads have had initial treatment, additional work might be needed to meet treatment specifications. Treatment specifications are as follows: 20ft from the edge of road on each side (Approximately 51 Acres, 10.5 Miles of Road); Remove 90% of all ladder fuel; Brush (live and dead); Remove all trees less than 10” DBH within 20’ of road edge
