Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vehicle Oil Changes and multi-point inspection - 1. Vendor must have staff and facilities to perform oil change services on sedans, diesel trucks, SUV’s, full-size trucks, and large vehicles that require heavy duty lifts. 2. Vendors must be able to provide vehicle inspections at every visit such as but not limited to the following. 3. Under Hood Inspection a. Engine Oil (if oil change was not performed) b. Coolant levels and condition c. Brake fluid level and condition d. Power steering fluid level and condition e. Air filter condition f. Drive belt condition g. Hoses h. Battery i. Washer Fluid 4. Safety Equipment a. Horn – ensure horn is in working order b. Brake pad inspection for wear 5. Interior/Exterior: a. Lights – headlights, taillights, turn signals b. Wipers c. Cabin Air Filter d. Air Conditioning e. Heater 6. Drivetrain: a. If engine lights are present, codes should be run b. Transmission fluid if not a closed system c. Differential/transfer case, check for fluid leaks d. Driveshaft/u-joints/CV joints, check for wear e. Fuel lines/brake lines, check for leaks and damage 7. Suspension: a. Shocks/struts/springs check for leaks/wear and tear. b. Tires, check to ensure they are inflated to the correct pressure and check and report tread depth. 8. Vehicle Tracking/Reporting a. Vendor must have the ability to maintain vehicle service records and provide upon request.
