Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Pile Driving: a. Major Operation: Driving Bearing Piling b. Work of a Similar Character: Driving of any type of bearing piling utilizing a hammer; placement of other substructure elements such as helical pile or drilled shafts will not satisfy this requirement. 2) Reinforced Concrete Construction: a. Major Operation: Forming, reinforcing, placing, finishing, and curing concrete for bridge elements b. Work of a Similar Character: Construction of any reinforced concrete structural elements according to the requirements of governing specification authority (i.e., AASHTO, PCI, ACI, etc). Experience must demonstrate ability to work on a scale comparable to this project.
