Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide biological monitoring and management services to ensure concurrence with all Federal, State, and County regulatory compliance and mitigation requirements on DEPARTMENT construction projects. The successful SERVICE PROVIDER(S) will have demonstrated experience in biological monitoring and management of linear and areal transportation construction projects for, but not limited to, Mojave Desert Tortoise, MBTA listed species, Gila Monster, Bighorn sheep, cacti/yucca species, rare/sensitive plant species such as Las Vegas bearpoppy, and noxious weeds. Biological compliance services may include preliminary surveys to identify/quantify biological resources and mitigation infrastructure, clearance surveys, monitoring of construction activities to comply with Federal/State/County requirements, and the associated reporting and documentation from project design to completion, as required.
