The contractor agrees to provide analysis and sample results in a timely manner to UOSH, on occasion within 24 hours. The contractor will track all samples with a Chain of Custody control form. Sample Analysis Results: The contractor will email results to the designated UOSH Compliance Officer, UOSH Compliance Supervisor and UOSH Financial staff on the day the test results are received from the lab. Results will indicate the amount of substance(s) per tube, if appropriate, cassette, or other collection medium. The results must be in the usual OSHA format of parts per million (ppm), if appropriate; milligrams or micrograms (mg/m3 or ug/m3), as appropriate, per cubic meter; etc. On rare occasions, the results may be disputed. Therefore, the contractor will ensure legal defensibility of the results obtained and will provide expert court testimony when called upon by the court system, at no additional cost.
