Specifications include, but are not limited to: Transportation and Shipment Standards Contractor will provide transportation of LTL (less than truckload) shipment of liquor, beer, and wine in temperature-controlled trailers from points in the Untied Sates to the DABS warehouse located at 1675 South 900 West Salt Lake City, UT.; Contractor is responsible for security of trailers to destination.; The holding of pallets while in-transit will be in temperature-controlled trailers as required by outdoor temperatures. Contractor’s equipment holding or transferring product will be locked at all times, help within a secured location.; Contractor must have the ability to store up to five trailer loads for five business days in a temperature controlled and secure warehouse.; Contractor shall be responsible to deliver shipment to the Sate of Utah within a reasonable amount of time. Most shipments should be delivered within 2-3 weeks from the time the shipment is ready for pickup.; Contractor shall provide good, serviceable, equipment and always maintained in good operative condition.; Contractor will exchange pallets in-kind with the State.; Contractor will ensure that all required documentation is provided to the State for all product and shipments delivered.; Contractor will segregate and identify any product damaged in-transit to facilitate case of handling by the DABS. Damaged product should already be noted on the bill of lading when the shipment arrives at the DABS.
