Specifications include, but are not limited to: METER REPAIR WORK: Contractor shall repair or replace EWEB Customers’ meter clip or meter base or service conductors on an as needed basis. Following repairs, Contractor shall contact EWEB for reconnect after approval of electrical inspection on EWEB customers’ electrical service. All work is subject to EWEB Customer Services Policies and Procedures, Electric Utility, Sections I and J, attached as Exhibit II. Contractor shall furnish all qualified and licensed personnel, equipment and supplies necessary to respond and remedy requested repairs and services on customer’s meter clip, meter base, or service conductors. EWEB will provide notice of repair work that will identify the specific areas of work for each assignment – see attached sample – Exhibit I-B. Maximum response time (on-site) shall be no later than two (2) hours from the time of request by EWEB, unless an extension is approved by EWEB at the time of the request. In the event of an emergency request for services, every effort will be made to respond as expeditiously as possible, but shall at no time exceed 2 hours. Upon assignment from EWEB staff, Contractor shall: i. Respond to EWEB’s request for work within 2 hours of request. ii. Have licensed journeyman electrician or apprentice perform all work under this Contract. iii. Obtain any necessary electrical permits. iv. Contact City of Eugene planning department and schedule an electrical inspection for work performed, if necessary. v. Notify EWEB staff when work is complete.
