Specifications include, but are not limited to: For the annual Halloween Party, The Louisville Zoo is seeking to purchase approximately 22-24 varieties of treats ranging in quantities of 20,000 to 45,000 pieces each. The Zoo reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities of any “treats” or number of treat varieties for the Halloween Party. “Treats” should include items similar (but not limited) to the following: • M&M’s • Super Bubble • Pretzels • Smarties • Pixy Stix • Blow Pops • Cookies • Fruit Snacks; It is imperative that a variety of options be available. The Louisville Zoo reserves the right to utilize treats other than those listed below. Items listed below are only being utilized for the purpose of pricing comparison for this bid. “Treats” should be offered in the “Fun Size” or single serving size and must be individually wrapped. The Zoo is not interested in purchasing bite size candies at this time if a larger “fun size” product is offered. The Louisville Zoo reserves the right to purchase products at a different size should the product no longer be available or if pricing for the product has changed. Sample products must be provided if requested. All unused/unopened cases must be returnable unless mentioned prior to purchase. Bids must be capable of restocking inventory same day throughout the Halloween Party as needed as well as holding stock off site.
