Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4000 psi mix - Strength - 4000 psi at 28 days, Slump - 5 inches maximum, Air entertainment maximum 6%, minimum 1.5%, Coarse aggregate -- crushed limestone, 100% passing 1" screen; 3500 psi mix -- Strength - 3500 psi at 28 days, Slump - 5 inches maximum, Air entertainment maximum 6%, minimum 1.5%, Coarse aggregate -- crushed limestone, 100% passing 1" screen; 3000 psi mix- Strength 3000 psi at 28 days, Slump - 5 inches maximum, Air entertainment maximum 6%, minimum 1.5%, Coarse aggregate -- crushed limestone, 100% passing 1" screen; Flowable Mortar – 1. Flowable mortar to be hand excavatable after 28-day cure. 2. Compressive strength at 28 days; 40 psi to 80 psi. 3. Typical mix shall consist of: a. Cement 50 b. Sand 2500 c. Water 210-275 d. 1 Egg of Darafill as manufactured by Grace Construction products or approved equal. (Or equivalent dry packaged Darafill); The concrete products shall be delivered to ISU Campus or to surrounding Ames area farms/locations, upon request. Most deliveries will occur during normal working hours 7:30am- 4:00pm (Campus Services normal hours are 6 am – 2:30 pm), Monday through Friday. Delivery times will be scheduled by the individual departments based on their normal work hours and project schedules. There is a possibility that an occasional Saturday delivery may be necessary (based on an emergency at ISU)
