Specifications include, but are not limited to: develop a Data Warehouse and Performance Measurement Information System (PMIS). Current challenges include running into issues where transactional system data are ‘siloed’ which makes querying data from multiple systems challenging and interruptive to system users. NKWD does not have a centralized dashboard system that provides users with a quick visual on metrics they are interested in. The objective of the Data Warehouse will be to integrate data from several of the District’s information management systems, and provide tools for departmental and enterprise reporting of service level, efficiency, demand, and workload metrics. The PMIS will focus on delivering quantitative information to support policy and management decisions throughout the NKWD’s organization. This information, and analyses that it enables, will benefit the District and its customers by identifying more optimum solutions (e.g., operating efficiencies, resource management, asset renewal decisions), recognizing exceptions, diagnosing issues, and communicating with stakeholders. The PMIS will be designed to take advantage of the most current proven technology, particularly in data integration and business intelligence tools.
