Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Demolition, removal, and proper off-site disposal of existing surface materials. 2. Sub-surface repair and preparation of field, including but not limited to laser grading to ensure proper playing field and drainage. 3. Replacement of the entire field including playing field, dugouts, and foul areas. 4. Installation of a cushioned synthetic rubberized surface to match the look of the existing field, that allows players utilizing wheelchairs and walkers to move unrestricted and without fear of injury. 5. Baseball field markings in white using the existing field dimensions and three basketball keys (line color to be determined) in the outfield near the fence. Line marking paint must be approved by the synthetic surfacing material manufacturer and guaranteed to last a minimum of one year. 6. Installation must be by certified technician and will be verified by the vendor. 7. Surface Physical Properties: a) 10mm+ Hardness shore ASTM-D2240 (American Society for Testing and Materials) b) Flat matte finish c) Minimum five feet width and five feet length to minimize joints in all areas d) Completely non-porous e) Resistant to burns and chemical agents f) Spike resistant g) UV resistant h) Exhibit color stability 8. Synthetic surface material adhesive must be a two-part polyurethane or epoxy adhesive as recommended and supplied by the synthetic surfacing material manufacturer. 9. Contractor must clean-up once demolition and installation is completed. 10. If materials and equipment are to be stored on-site, the contractor may use the parking lot closest to the field.
