Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Advising on market positioning of property to be sold 2. Marketing properties (OPTIONAL SERVICES – AT DOC’S REQUEST): a. Prepare marketing and listing documents, pamphlets, flyers, and camera ready adverting copy as needed; b. Place “For Sale” signs on property; c. Advertise the property, which may include social media and digital marketing; d.Act as main point of contact for property; e.Conduct property tours; f. Ensure that buyers are pre-screened and financially qualified to buy the property; and g.Document and report to DOC all contacts and information regarding the property. 3. Analyzing and evaluation offers received: a. Conduct preliminary financial analysis of offers for purchase; b. Review and consult with DOC on options; and c. Assist DOC with developing and presenting counter offers. 4. Negotiating: a. Formulate and present negotiation strategies to DOC; b. Negotiate the authorized strategy and price with other parties on behalf of DOC; c. Negotiate terms and conditions of agreements consistent with federal, state, and local laws, and financial objectives and requirements; and d. Review all terms and conditions with DOC for final approval. 5. Document preparation a. Prepare or provide for DOC any supporting disclosures or documents required by federal, state, or local law that are not prepared by the Oregon Department of Justice.
