Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor will be responsible for all materials and equipment utilized. It is not anticipated that the pond will need to be drained for this project to occur. Pricing for all work shall be by linear or cubic foot in order to determine the distance of bank reconstruction that may occur within the project budget. A. Dredging: If needed, dredging should be minimal or not required. If required: a. Vendor responsible for all materials and equipment utilized. i. Vendor to haul off dredged material including any trees, bushes or foreign objects removed during dredging. ii. Limit of approximately five to ten feet (5’-10’) from the shoreline. iii. Less than one (1’) foot depth for dredging. B. Bank Stabilization a. Meet all environmental standards or requirements. b. Rip rap size shall be a minimum of 18-24” or larger. Vendor has the following two supply options: i. Option 1: Vendor responsible for all rip rap supply and equipment utilized. ii. Option 2: SCP+R supplies rip rap. Vendor would pick-up SCP+R rip rap from SCP+R Lake Compound at 3137 SE 29th Street. Vendor responsible for all equipment utilized. c. Compact rock at a slope necessary to reduce runoff into the pond. i. Slope should be gradual with ratio of approximately 5:1 (L’/H’). C. Topsoil & Seeding a. Vendor responsible for all materials and equipment utilized. i. Topsoil of less than three inch (3”) depth and no more than two feet (2’) in width is required. ii. Seeding of native grasses as determined by owner. iii. Addition of Erosion control mesh, if necessary.
