Specifications include, but are not limited to: Westfield Washington Schools, located in Westfield, Indiana, is undertaking a significant restructuring of educational delivery and facility expansion and improvements. The entire program is identified as “Destination Westfield Design Build Project.” 2.2.1. Optimize the quality and scope of work that can be provided within the funding allocated for the project. 2.2.1.1. Offeror must provide excellent leadership in assisting the Owner to establish priorities and make appropriate substitutes, alternates, and trade-off decisions about the Project. 2.2.1.2. Offeror must guide the Project development process through thoughtful consideration of options relating to the function of each programmed area for improvement in order to help the Owner make the most informed, cost effective decisions about the appropriate design and construction of the project. 2.2.2. Establish a collaborative relationship between the Owner and the Design-Build Team to deliver quality design and construction on time and within the Owner’s budget. 2.2.3. Design and construct remodeled and expanded facilities that are well suited to the academic programs provided by Owner. 2.2.4. Design and construct facilities that are durable, withstanding decades of intense use with minimum need for maintenance and repair. 2.2.5. Comply with all applicable federal, state, county and local building codes, ordinances, guidelines, legal constraints, standards, etc. 2.2.6. Maintain a safe, injury free work site.
