Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an approach that incorporates many of the recent law enforcement recruiting, advertising and marketing strategies being used by our competitors, including: 1. Creation of a unique brand; 2. Development/administration of a compelling marketing and recruitment website; 3. Video production and still photography with crossover viability for different strategies; and 4. Click tracking and analytical functionality of on-line advertising via social media, email advertising, and internet website search functions with Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office seeks proposals that include the above strategies, and that also go beyond a “cookie cutter” approach that simply mimics what our competitors are doing. The County is seeking fresh ideas that are based upon: 1. A deep understanding of the current challenges and opportunities faced by the New Mexico Law Enforcement profession; 2. Significant familiarity with and verified success rates in attracting highly qualified, viable candidates for sworn New Mexico-certified lateral entry patrol positions and eligible academy trainees; 3. The ability to identify and capitalize upon the unique features and amenities offered by the Bernalillo County and the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office that will set it apart from other Law Enforcement Agencies; and 4. Recommendations about complementary strategies the Agency can undertake to strategically position itself as a sought-after Law Enforcement employer. The most capable marketing firms/individuals should be able to demonstrate at least a five (5) year history of success in developing and executing a Comprehensive Law Enforcement Marketing, Advertising and Recruitment Campaign for law enforcement agencies.
