Specifications include, but are not limited to: SANITARY SEWER GRAVITY MAIN, 8”, TRENCHLESS: Contractor will furnishing and install 8” pipe at 1% grade meeting SUDAS specifications. Installation starts at connection to existing stub-out pipe at approximate 10.14 foot depth, to new manhole to be placed approximately 200 feet away. Item includes trenchless installation materials and equipment, pit excavation, dewatering, placing and compacting backfill material, testing, and inspection.; SANITARY SEWER MANHOLE: Includes excavation, furnishing and installing pipe, furnishing, placing, and compacting bedding and backfill material, base, structural concrete, reinforcing steel, precast units (if used), concrete fillets, pipe connections, infiltration barriers (sanitary sewer manholes only), castings, and adjustment rings. Exact manhole depth to be determined in the field, but is expected to be approximately 12 foot.; PAVEMENT REMOVAL AND ROADWAY RESTORATION: Pavement removal at the boring location and manhole location will be incidental to the construction. The contractor will backfill the locations with gravel temporary roadway surface or below if coordinated with the city, and the final surfacing will be completed by the City.; TRAFFIC CONTROL: Contractor shall be responsible to provide traffic control signage that includes, but is not limited to, Road Closed Ahead signs and Type III barricades. This traffic control signage will follow current MUTCD traffic control requirements. The signs and barricades shall be placed as directed by City staff. The costs associated with traffic control are incidental to construction.
