Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Hillsborough County intends to recommend the modification of a noncompetitive procurement, with Compuquip Technologies, LLC d/b/a Compuquip Cybersecurity (Compuquip), to extend the contract by two (2) years from December 31, 2023, through December 31, 2025, for continued ongoing and as-needed Check Point firewall consulting services at no additional cost. This procurement is being made in accordance with the County’s Procurement Policy Section 3-208(15) and is considered a noncompetitive procurement as Compuquip is the only authorized Five Star Certified agent in the State of Florida to provide service for the Check Point firewall systems used by Hillsborough County. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly. Contractors who believe that they can provide goods and/or services that are substantially and materially the same as those identified in the attached documentation must submit clear and convincing information to support a challenge to the intended award. Challenges to this notice must be received no later than the Close Date of the Sole Source (SS) Project. After this date, an award will be made. The County will review properly submitted challenges (responses) to determine whether bona fide competition exists.
