Specifications include, but are not limited to: To the best of my knowledge this is the only vendor that sells cost effective PM2.5 and PM10 air monitoring solutions with cellular/Wi-Fi communication and validated data visualizations for Utah. This vendor has taken the component that was validated at the University of Utah (the Alphasense OPC-N3 that measures PM10) and integrated it into the Air quality sensor that was co-developed here at the University of Utah. They provide integrated outlier screening, data correction, and data visualization. Other vendors either claim to measure PM10 or sell sensors that are capable of measuring PM10, but they do not provide the data correction and visualization tools that we require. Sole source will last through the end of the current federally funded project 1/15/2024, or any renewals made to it extending to a further date.
