Specifications include, but are not limited to: Veteran cast bronze star markers with flag holders, with mounting rod. Mounting rod is 24” long, 5/16” diameter, solid brass. Star is a five-point star. Star dimensions: 6-1/8”, 7/32” thickness, solid bronze casting. Rods are to be thread to fit the tab in the bronze star. Two additional tabs (flag holders) to be drilled on the bronze star to receive the flags. Bronze star grave markers are to be unassembled for shipping. From the top point of the star moving clockwise the area below the point should contain the following: “F”; a navy anchor emblem; “L”; “C”; and a crossed rifles with bayonets fixed emblem. The word “VETERAN” should be placed in the center space of the marker. Each of the five points of the star should also contain a star. Reference the figure below for artwork.
