Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work covered under this solicitation shall consist of all labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform an estimated 40 hours of work on an as-needed basis during the contract term by grinding trees and brush with a crawler-type power shovel (track hoe) fitted with a grinding head in select locations of the Warroad Forestry Areas of Beltrami Island and Lost River State Forests as specified. Most grinding work will be road right of way (ROW) woody vegetation removal. Work will be typically performed in ditches along the roads; however, grinding work will not be limited to this application. Contractor will be required to be called out at different times during the contract period as assigned and requested by the Project Supervisor.
