Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide comprehensive Asbestos Containing Materials (“ACM”) and Hazardous Materials Consulting Services via a nonexclusive open-end contract. The following services and activities are included as related to ACM, mold, lead paint and hazardous materials: • Review of related historical documentation • Building inspections, surveys, sampling and analysis • Regulatory compliance and support • Abatement planning and design in support of maintenance, demolition, renovation, and construction activities • Abatement and demolition cost estimating • Removal, remediation and disinfection • Review of Contractor abatement, demolition and/or removal plans and other supporting documents • Abatement oversight, third party monitoring, air sampling, clearance testing and construction administration/oversight • Reporting as requested by WVU or required by code or regulation. • Developing operation and maintenance plans • Consulting support related to potential emergency response activities as requested (flooding, storm, fires, spill response etc.) • Support related to accidental/unintended releases of subject materials. • Meet with regulatory agencies, as requested by WVU, or required. • Participation in public meetings, as requested by WVU. • Provide expert witness and litigation support as requested by WVU. • Consulting related to other materials such as lead paint, mold, and other potentially harmful substances. • Risk analysis and mitigation • Recommendations for indoor air quality and industrial hygiene services • Training services • Other related services as requested by WVU. The selected Supplier will work with WVU’s representatives and appointed outside parties, which may include, but not be limited to WVU Project Managers, Facilities Management Groups, various WVU departments, environmental health and safety entities, and the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office, West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, in the design and implementation of projects across WVU and various affiliated entities and all WVU campus locations.
