Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor shall furnish complete leaf spring and suspension system replacements, repairs, and parts for all types of motorized vehicles and equipment suspensions. Contractor shall have the ability to manufacture springs and leafs for jeeps, pickup trucks, both imported and domestic, up to and including Class 8 trucks from varied manufacturers for City’s Fleet Management Division on an “as needed” basis. B. Contractor shall maintain sufficient inventory of parts and supplies to meet City’s needs. In the event Contractor is unable to supply a requested part(s) from its inventory, Contractor shall make every effort possible to secure the required part(s) from an outside source. If the Contractor cannot secure the required part(s) from an outside source, Contractor shall provide overnight shipping as an option, at the discretion of City. Contractor shall stock or shall otherwise have access to the items listed in the table below. C. Contractor will provide City with quote(s) for approval before any repair(s)/ service is performed. D. Upon request from Fleet Management, Contractor shall pick up springs and/or vehicle from the Fleet Management facility located at 1990 West 500 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Service requests from other City departments shall be picked up at the department’s named locations. E. Contractor shall pick up all springs and/or vehicle(s) to be repaired, as requested, within three hours after Contractor receives the request from City. Contractor shall deliver repaired or replacement spring(s) and/or repaired vehicle(s) to City within the turnaround time specified in Section II. F. below. F. Contractor shall guarantee the requested service for the items listed, or City approved equal, in the table below shall be complete by the end of the next working day following City’s request for service. If Contractor is unable to meet this deadline, Contractor shall provide the additional discount stated in Section II.C., of Exhibit “B” for non-compliance with this requirement which shall remain separate from any other discounts given herein.
