Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), Division of State Parks will require the trimming and removal of approximately: Kahana Valley State Park Coconut grove – Trim approximately 57 coconut palms. Fishpond – Trim approximately 38 coconut palms. Malaekahana State Recreation Area (Laie Section) Trim approximately 155coconut palms. Sand Island State Recreation Area Trim approximately 25 coconut palms. Royal Mausoleum Trim approximately 50 royal palms, 4 coconut palms, and 4 date palms. Coconut palms require two (2) trimmings per year, approximately six (6) months apart. The Royal Mausoleum coconut and palm trees requires four (4) trimmings per year, approximately three (3) months apart. More trimmings may be requested during the contract period. No work shall commence until a purchase order is issued by a designated representative from State Parks.
