Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Review and Assessment o Evaluate the existing Conservation and Open Space Chapter of the Master Plan and related documents. o Identify gaps, shortcomings, and opportunities for improvement based on current environmental trends and community needs. • Stakeholder Engagement o Organize and conduct public engagement efforts such as online polling, public meetings, workshops, and/or focus groups to gather input from residents, community organizations, and relevant stakeholders. o Incorporate feedback and insights into the updated chapter. • Data Analysis o Collect and analyze relevant data, such as land use patterns, environmental conditions, and demographic trends. o Use GIS mapping and/or other relevant tools to visually represent important information. • Integration with Master Plan o Ensure that the updated Conservation and Open Space Chapter integrates with other chapters of the Master Plan. o Identify cross-references and connections to enhance the overall cohesiveness of the document. • Drafting and Design o Prepare well-organized, concise, and clearly articulated written content for the updated chapter. o Include updated action items for conservation and open space that align with the city's goals and values for land preservation, recreational use, and sustainable development.
