Specifications include, but are not limited to: NWACC seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide a Athletic Feasibility to ensure the College aligns with best practices and to be a College/Employer of choice. The study includes, but may not be limited to, developing the size and scope of the intercollegiate athletic program at NorthWest Arkansas Community College while focusing on building a viable and sustainable athletic program with a detailed 5-year plan for the integration of athletics into the college campus. Supplier will: 1. Provide data and information to develop a strategic plan and timeline for implementing NJCAA Athletic Program over a 5-year period and action plans for moving expeditiously. 2. Examine NJCAA, with specific emphasis on region 2 and the trends and landscape of college athletics and compare that information with the landscape of Northwest Arkansas to give relevant data for decision making. 3. Examine the state of high school and university athletics in the Northwest Arkansas area. 4.Based on market data from the NJCAA and Northwest Arkansas determine a list of potential sports options for Northwest Arkansas Community College. Access the following in regard to those sports options: a. Required facilities b. Required travel c. Financial feasibility including start-up cost estimates, annual cost estimates, and revenue projetions d. Impact on college enrollment e. Staffing needs f. Overall operational feasibility g. Balance of sports seasons h. Suggested timeline for implementation 5. Identify and determine implementation plan for additional non-sport specific athletic staff deemed necessary such as Athletic Administrative Assistant, Athletic Trainers, Academic Advisors, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, Nutritionist, etc. And develop associated cost with each position
