Specifications include, but are not limited to: • All contractors will assess the entire building areas during the walk-through. Contractor will have their mechanical engineer design and size units including, but not limited to all necessary heating ducks, vents, electrical work, low voltage drainage, pans, including new thermostats. Contractor will have stamped drawing/print if necessary for the Building Department approval. Contractor will ensure existing support and newly installed support brackets will be efficient enough for new HVAC roof through ceiling units. Contractor will discard all existing HVAC unit’s legally off site. All contractors will have their necessary subcontractors come with them to the initial walk through. • Contractor will purchase and install all HVAC roof through ceiling units of appropriate size to accommodate all roof through ceiling areas replacing the existing. Contractor will ensure that newly install units on roof through ceiling areas along with all controls are correct for the proper heating and cooling for all areas. Contractor will include all start up along with all other mechanical trades including but not limited to HVAC electrical, and plumbing. • Contractor will remove any ceiling insulation, grids, and tiles to do all necessary installation if needed. Contractor will replace any ceiling tiles, grids and insulation that is damaged during the installation of the HVAC roof through ceiling units. Contractor will do all exterior roof and interior repairs associative with this project. Contractor will do all that’s needed for a complete and thorough job. Contractor will include start up and (1) year warranty on all parts and labor and an extended warranty from the manufacturer. Contractor will ensure that proper staff knows how to operate all units.
