Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1st Floor Mechanicals Air Conditioning • All contractors will assess the entire building areas during the walk-through. Contractor will have their mechanical engineer design and size units including all necessary heating ducks, vents, electrical work, low voltage drainage, pans, including new thermostats. Contractor will have stamped drawing/print if necessary for the Building Department approval. Contractor will ensure existing support and newly installed support brackets will be efficient enough for new HVAC units. Contractor will discard all existing HVAC unit’s legally off site. All contractors will have their necessary subcontractors come with them to the walk through. • Contractor will purchase and install all HVAC ceiling units of appropriate size to accommodate all ceiling areas replacing the existing. HVAC unit or unitsin daycare ceiling areas and all controls for the proper heating and cooling for main/1st floor daycare areas. Toddler room (A & C) Toddler room (D) Infant (A & B). Contractor will include all start up along with all other mechanical trades including but not limited to HVAC electrical, and plumbing. • Contractor will remove any ceiling insulation, grids, and tiles to do all necessary installation. Contractor will replace any ceiling tiles, grids and insulation that is damage during the installation of the A/C units. Contractor will do all that’s needed for a complete job. Contractor will include start up and (1) year warranty on all parts and labor and an extended warranty from the manufacturer. Contractor will ensure that proper staff knows how to operate all units.; Basement Mechanicals Air Conditioning • All contractors will assess the entire building areas during the walk-through. Contractor will have their mechanical engineer design and size units including all necessary heating ducks, vents, electrical work, low voltage drainage, pans, including new thermostats. Contractor will have stamped drawing/print if necessary for the Building Department approval. Contractor will ensure existing support and newly installed support brackets will be efficient enough for new HVAC units. Contractor will discard all existing HVAC unit’s legally off site. All contractors will have their necessary subcontractors come with them to the walk through. • Contractor will purchase and install all HVAC ceiling units of appropriate size to accommodate the complete basement ceiling area. HVAC unit or units in basement areas and all controls for the proper heating and cooling for Basement floor. Contractor will remove and discard the existing A/C units in both basement closets and discard legally off site. Contractor will patch vent areas sheetrock & tape paint finish. Contractor will include start up along with all other mechanical trades including but not limited to HVAC electrical, and plumbing. • Contractor will remove any ceiling insulation, grids, and tiles to do all necessary installation. Contractor will replace any ceiling tiles, grids and insulation that is damage during the installation of the A/C units. Contractor will do all that’s needed for a complete job. Contractor will include start up and (1) year warranty on all parts and labor and an extended warranty from the manufacturer. Contractor will ensure that proper staff knows how to operate all units.; Bathroom Door • Contractor will reset the existing bathroom metal door so that door closes property without stress to the door or frame.; 3rd Mechanicals Air Conditioning • All contractors will assess the entire building areas during the walk-through. Contractor will have their mechanical engineer design and size units including all necessary heating ducks, vents, electrical work, low voltage drainage, pans, including new thermostats. Contractor will have stamped drawing/print if necessary for the Building Department approval. Contractor will ensure existing support and newly installed support brackets will be efficient enough for new HVAC units. Contractor will discard all existing HVAC unit’s legally off site. All contractors will have their necessary subcontractors come with them to the walk through. • Contractor will connect to the existing air handler’s units on 3rd floor four (4) in total two units per side. Air handlers have hot water coils and A/C coils that is not hook up. Contractor will assess the newly install units to ensure that all are in great working order. Contractor will connect to the existing duck work in ceiling for proper fit. • Contractor will purchase and install four (4) in total condenser units of appropriate size for 3rd floor area. Condenser will be outside of building with pad and locking cage. Contractor will make all necessary connections including covers for any piping or wiring to keep free from the elements. All units will have controls for the proper heating and cooling for the third floor. Contractor will remove all discarded waste legally off site. Contractor will include all start up along with other mechanical trades including but not limited to HVAC electrical, and plumbing. • Contractor will remove any ceiling insulation, grids, and tiles to do all necessary installation.
