Specifications include, but are not limited to: Installation of heat pump/condenser units to provide AC to various classrooms at Suffield Middle School and McAlister Intermediate School, as well as each school kitchen (4 total). Each unit(s) will serve a single room. Price to include new A/C, piping entering the building and connection to a wall unit(s) in the room, installation of condensate pumps with emergency shut off switches at the indoor unit to shut the system down if a condensate drain problem occurs. Price must include all electrical work, required permits and removal of existing units. Each unit must include a remote control for the unit. All but one unit will be installed in rooms with exterior walls so outside condensers can be installed at ground level. Only 1 unit will need to be installed on the roof. Space exists in current electric panels to add these units. If additional units require installation of an additional electrical panel, it will be done at the owner's expense.
