Printer to provide FTP site access or similar platform for uploading files. Full magazine (cover and inside pages) to be printed on a web press only, with closed loop color, and color-to-color registration control. Close attention to crossover images expected. Paper stock: If base bid stock becomes unavailable after the contract is awarded, printer must notify UNH immediately, and procure a substitute acceptable to magazine editor. UNH reserves the right to accept or reject proposed substitute stock. Paper price adjustments: While manufacturing costs must be held consistent with bid throughout the term of the contract, we will allow industry standard increases in paper cost to be passed through to us, at cost, with proof of the increase. Proof must be provided by the printer in the form of documented current price (a letter from the paper mill announce the cost increase, documentation from Fastmarkets RISI Graphic Paper Price Index, etc.) of specified stock at time of printing, compared to documented price of specified stock at time of bid. The proof/documentation must be acceptable to UNH. In the event that paper price adjustments increase by more than 15%, Firm must discuss upcoming price adjustments with UNH on the preferred paper to determine if UNH would like to move forward as planned or determine alternative options. Printer may not subcontract printing or production of the magazine without prior knowledge of UNH. Printer to specify in bid the plant at which the magazine will be printed and provide a website listing capabilities and equipment Printer to provide similar magazine examples for review; samples must be current and printed by the bidder Printer must assign knowledgeable representative prior to and during production Printer will provide estimated print production schedule for both issues Bid to be based on two invoices per issue: postal costs and production costs. Invoices should be as detailed as possible to show each itemized charge that makes up the total cost. Printer will not initiate any changes on files without written confirmation from UNH Magazine editor. UNH will not be responsible for work done without editorial approval by UNH Magazine. Printer will hold any overage from postage payment and apply it toward the cost of the final invoice. Postage estimates must be provided on a separate line with your bid. Upon request, a sample list of ZIP codes to calculate your estimate will be provided by UNH. Shipping, Freight, Delivery: Final mailing and shipping required within 30 days from receipt of PDF files including proofing, printing and finishing Bidder must include cost of freight and delivery in final bid Upon completion of this job ALL files, either paper or electronic, must be returned to UNH Advancement Office. Copyright of all materials including photographs, photo negatives, creative artwork, mechanical/electronic artwork and printer negatives/films are to be considered property of the University and the costs incurred in production included in the quotation price submitted. All copyright privileges remain the sole right of the University. The University approves the electronic archiving of the magazine and postcard by the awarded printer. The printer must provide written notification prior to the destruction of any films or files and must have the written consent of the University
