Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a noncompetitive procurement to Amanda Lenart, DVM; Kelin Libretti, DVM; Medora Pashmakova, DVM; and Douglas Bruns, DVM, in an aggregate amount of $24,000.00, for a one (1) year period to be distributed based on department need and veterinarian availability, to perform locum tenens veterinary services for the Pet Resources Department (PRD). This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3-208(25) of the County’s Procurement Policy as it is for health services involving examination, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, medical consultation or administration purchased on the basis of an established fee schedule taking into consideration the needs of the animals. The veterinarian’s services, include, but are not limited to, performing surgeries, examinations, reviewing casework, signing reports, etc., to provide veterinary coverage to keep up with the workload requirements of the PRD during times of staff shortage. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly.
