Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Should be located in the Albuquerque and/or Rio Rancho area. 2. At this time, all New Mexico Department of Game and Fish Shooting Sports Program (SSP) firearms will not receive a medallion or barrel etching. This may be required in the future, and the SSP will immediately inform the vendor of any changes to internal policies. 3. Provide repair services for inoperable firearms or firearms that are not functioning properly. This is to include shotguns, rifles, muzzleloaders and handguns. 4. Fully clean all types of firearms as needed by the SSP. 5. Advise the SSP of any firearms that must be removed from live fire activities due to safety concerns. 1. Firearms deemed unsafe and unable to be repaired will be either deactivated or destroyed following the procedures outlined in this ITB. 2. No deactivation or destruction may occur without prior written approval from the SSP coordinator. 6. As requested, provide additional services for adding or servicing firearm accessories. This may include but is not limited to, installing scopes on rifles, changing pistol sights, or other accessories the SSP deems necessary. 7. As requested, make changes to the firearm's length of pull, comb height, cast, etc., through accessories or adjustments to the firearm. 8. Own, or have access to machinery and equipment, that will allow the vendor to perform the aforementioned processes and any other firearm work required or requested by the SSP. 9. Provide and maintain safe, secure storage for all SSP firearms while in the possession of the vendor for the aforementioned work. 10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of receipt, transfer, maintenance, service, repair and status of all SSP firearms brought to or picked up by the vendor for requested work. Be able to provide this documentation, upon request by SSP, within seven (7) business days of request. 11. Have the ability to transfer firearms safely and securely to/from SSP office located at the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish Albuquerque office for requested work. 12. Have the ability to take requests made by the SSP for expedited pick-up, drop-off, maintenance and repairs at any time. This may include weekends. 13. Submit invoices within seven (7) business days to the SSP coordinator for work performed on firearms.
